The reason I'm messenging is to tell you that I've submitted a new poem as a gesture, and the manor in which you comment (attack on me vs. comment on the art. I don't care if you insult the poem, just not my person.) will be the answer for which I'm looking.

Never mind that; I have a proposition. I want to end this petty back-and-forth insulting. I realize that I made the first hostile action and I should be the one to undo it. Claim victory if you want; I just hope that we can act like contemporaries and coleagues. My proposition is this: I'm going to put this all behind me. You can do the same and we'll act descently from now on, or you can keep going in which case I'll still put it behind me, which means ignoring you. Like I said, I blame only myself for letting this get out of hand, and I know I was the unreasonable one.
